Joost Burki

Joost is our Large Animal Associate Clinical Director and joined the Priory Vets team in September 2015 having newly qualified from the University of Utrecht in the Netherlands. As a large animal vet he spends much of his time supporting farmers and smallholders to manage the health of their animals. A Dutch native, Joost got a taste for farming and veterinary work from his regular holidays to West Wales throughout his youth. Outside of work Joost plays football for Cardigan FC and enjoys most outdoor activities including sailing, cycling, and mountain biking, snowboarding and running.
